Our Chef Kevin plans healthy seasonal menus according to the Victorian Menu planning guidelines for long day care and kindergartens. Thanks to his hard work, our service was awarded Silver in the 2022 Best Bites Competition which is a Mornington Peninsula Shire, Peninsula Health and Disability Advisory Committee program recognising the most outstanding local food businesses in the areas of food safety, healthy eating, sustainability, smoke free policies and access and inclusion. Kevin prepares  all our meals onsite daily with locally procured fresh produce and ingredients from our very own Kitchen Garden. Kevin loves sharing his passion for fresh healthy food with the children through the Kitchen Garden Program. He is also a qualified pastry chef and bakes for our special events/community afternoon teas.
