We are a privately owned business run by a local family. Sandra or Sandy as she’s more fondly known is our Centre Owner & Director who has over 35 years experience working in the child & family services sector. Unlike other services where management is hard to contact, Sandy works at Hastings Childcare & Community Kinder everyday. She loves getting to know each & every family, helping support them & the goals they have for their child.  Sandy is a fully qualified Mother Craft Nurse, Disability worker & Parenting Practitioner (specialising in behaviour management & sleep routines for newborns). She also holds her Advanced Diploma in Children Services & Education. Sandys son Alex holds a Masters in Early Childhood & Primary Education & works alongside her as Assistant Director. Sandys daughter Chelsea works as the Administration Manager. Chelsea handles all enrolment, & communication procedures specialising in helping parents navigate the Centrelink system to access their full entitlements under the Child Care Subsidy. Lastly Sandys husband Warren helps our as the accounts manager & maintenance man. He is the reason our building is in such good condition ensuring everything is fit for purpose & child safe. So yes it really is a family affair!
